Who I am

KnowledgeGainzz is a personal training business run by Leo, a self-employed NASM-certified personal trainer working at PureGym Giltbrook, Nottingham. I am the data controller for information you send through this website. Contact: email me.

What I collect

• Contact details: name, age, email, phone and social media username.
• Health information: your PAR-Q answers, injuries, medication and any details you give.
• Training, activity, goals, lifestyle and nutrition information.

Why I collect it

To check it's safe for you to exercise, to plan your consultation and programme, and to contact you about your enquiry. Health information is special category data under UK GDPR. I only process it with your explicit consent, which you give on the enquiry form.

How it's handled

• Your answers are emailed to me and a copy is emailed to you using EmailJS, an email delivery service.
• While you fill in the form, a draft is saved in your own browser only. It is cleared when you submit.
• I never sell your data or share it with anyone else unless you ask me to (e.g. your GP) or the law requires it.

How long I keep it

If you don't become a client, I delete your enquiry within 6 months. For clients, I keep records for the length of our training plus up to 3 years for insurance purposes, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing me. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
